Episode 8

September 5th, 2011    54 Comments

We explore satan worship, plant medicine, the mystic arts and the whole crew goes to see a psychic. Why some people are always never fully present and constantly dissatisfied and no matter where they are, always want to hurry to get back home.

Yoshi expresses his hatred for psychics, and the psychic sees a frightened little boy inside yoshi. Yoshi works a clean act in comedy and faces getting laid off from his porn job. We delve into the origin of Yoshi and his relationship with his mother, and find out why he’s the dirtiest comic and works in filthy porn but at the core is still a shy sensitive girl inside. Yoshi is not into “the christian bullshit of forgiving people,” he’s offended by forgiveness, and calls jesus a shithead.

Dave deals with the betrayal of friendship, choosing love or choosing hate. Making the choice out of self respect and principle beating people to near death who deserve it. Being stubborn and embracing not changing and hate. Hating people because they love animals, and hating people because they are too loving and beating your kids.

The psychic reveals that joey is a full blown bisexual. We ponder if its possible for a man to be raped by a woman? A history of never getting the girl you want and always ending up with the uglier best friend.

Denzolo the Shaman drops knowledge on plant medicine and ayahuasca. taking different paths , and learning from our challenges to get to a deeper place. Entering the twilight zone, different dimensions and achieving full body orgasms for over an hour without drugs.

  3. Kieran O'Leary says:

Yoshi talking about his mom nearly broke my heart.

  4. P says:

yoooo….this shit just got real, son.

  5. Jay Unidos says:

Denzolo’s Charlie Chaplin reference had to be the result of some inter-dimensional, time traveling ayahuasca experience. Yoshi went deep in this episode, but it still feels like we’re only scratching the surface. Great podcast.

  6. Ryu says:

    what’s that intro/outro song

  7. ben says:

that hippy dude was full of shit. Fortune tellers claim to be in contact with spirits, which is bullshit, But that’s why people consult them. the hippy makes the same claim, which is why he’s so defensive. The show works better with just Dave, Joey, and Yoshi.

  9. Billy says:

Denzolo spoke real truth, his tip for recounting each day without emotion was clever.

Maybe the best episode so far; bummed that horny kim missed it.

  10. cuntface says:

yoshi and that other dude are annoying as fuck,i hope someone kicks them in the face sometime soon.

  11. Danny says:

I love everyone in this show.

  12. Leandro says:

wow, I could hear that hippy guy talk all day… it makes sense what he says on some deep level… I know why david keeps him around, they should learn more from him, and let all that anger out… these guys are psychos…hahaha

  13. carl says:

The first part made me depressed. My dad was an alcoholic and I would pray as a child that he would die because he was an horrible father… then my parents got divorced and each time he would call I would hang up the phone because I hated his guts. Then he kepts drinking and his health went downhill and we went down to see him and I watch him pass away in front my me. I am trying my best to be sober right now but its hard because drugs make me feel not alone in this world (witch I am). i know I need to keep pushing through this depression and make positive changes in my life. I used to have a lot of regrets about how everything panned out, but I know I just need to accept it and see everything with love. thanks for the podcast and thanks for your art

  14. Ed says:

Have strong empathy for Yoshi’s situation.

  15. bw says:

I watched that movie, I liked it up until the Eastern European guy penetrated the newborn baby. Nothing can prepare you for the look on that babies face and then for the mother to laugh about it, wow, that scene was the most disturbing of them all. And the final scene, poor Milos, fucking his own son and having to watch his brother fuck his wife like that, that guy was a stallion, just pounding her relentlessly, sheesh, bad week for Milos.

Listening to episode 8 now. Sounds like it is a good Yoshi episode.

  16. bw says:

ooh, David block me from Facebook for making fun of his Momma….ooh, what a fag!

Sorry Dave!!!!!!! I won’t make fun of your Mom anymore. Bahahaa.

  17. Nulfo The Great says:

    BOSS.

  18. Josh says:

Yoshi going in on Jesus was the best LMAO

  19. jamie says:

this is boring….i wish dave would accept yoshi for yoshi…he is always trying to change him and make him see things his way. dave, do you love yoshi for him be yoshi…or cause you like to bash on him/ i have a friend that likes to bash on me and unintentionally it makes me resentful and go even more in the direction she hates. love yoshi for yoshi…i know he does.

  20. Anonymous says:

Yoshi born in the wrong era? How about no. All religion should be considered mythology by now. Everyone else on this show was born in the wrong fucking era.

  21. sam3352 jones says:

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa yooooosssshiiiiii! lol

  22. billychan says:

At the end, Denzolo and Dave sounded like nonsensical hacks. If a psychic is for entertainment purposes only, then Denzolo should have said the same about Christianity instead of bashing it for giving false truths. Yoshi was right about expectations, nobody goes to see Dane Cook to seek personal insight. Who cares about the Latin derivative of psyche, the Tongan language derivative means something else.

  23. Anonymous says:

Denzolo is a pain to listen to

  53. 8th says:

I understand the skeptical takes against the talking points of Denzolo and the practice of a card reader, but you just sound like someone who’s maximum comprehension of math reaches high school algebra trying to tell pythagoras that his teachings are null. If you’re a telescope your lens are dirty and excessively warped therefore your perception is perverted, even a 10% improvement in the shitty condition of your lens would allow you to take in more information and understand something that Denzolo presents. Note that you are stuck in a LANGUAGE MODEL and cannot experience anything outside of your own small perverted logos.

    • 8th says:

the MAP (language model used to describe spiritual phenomena) is NOT the TERRAIN ( the actual “spirit realm” ) do not mistake the stars’ reflection upon the midnight lake as the actual cosmos.
